We had a wonderful time on Runaway. The Captain and crew... especially the 1st mate were beyond exceptional. Being a fishing boat owner in the East Coast of the US I'm aware of all that goes into ocean fishing. The crew worked exceptionally hard rigging lines. The Captain stayed on top of where fish were. Early we lost a sailfish, hooked and almost boated a huge wahoo then landed 2 nice mahi. On the way in we nailed a good size sailfish and got it to the side of the boat for some picture taking then released it. During the whole trip the 1st mate made sure all our needs were met. Great guys too. Can't say enough about our positive experience. If you are looking for a great experience book this boat but remember the fish have to bite and if they don't it's not the boats fault.

The Runaway is a 32 ft black-fin boat. It has been completely fitted in 2017 to make it most comfortable and luxurious in your fishing charter. It has a personal head and a small kitchen space with seats and a fold up bed. The crew headed by Captain Carlos has been fishing the waters of Guanacaste over 20 years.
The Runaway is good in the offshore as well as inshore. It is fitted with the newest electronics, outriggers, downriggers, a rocket launcher, and fishing chair. It, also, possesses tuna tubes, live-well and quality rods, reels and lures.
Prepare a tremendous fishing excursion on the Runaway. The boat is capable of accommodating 5 individuals, thus suitable in case of a small group of friends or family members willing to have an adventure.
The 32-foot Blackfin Express is then everything you would require to have a comfortable day on the water. The board has a restroom that is readily accessible and provides you with privacy during your fishing trip.

What’s Included
All our trips include fruit, soda/pop, water, juice, beer, lunch served in the boat only on Full Day charters, you are welcome to bring a small cooler, drinks or food.
All charters include fishing gear and bait (inshore fishing)
What To Expect
During the half day tour we go fishing along the Pacific coast of beautiful Costa Rica and we look for fishes like mahi mahi, yellowfin tuna, red snapper, wahoo, rooster fish, jack, grouper and small species.
On the Full Day tours we go deep sea fishing to catch and release blue marlin, black marlin, sailfish, and rooster fish.
