The Tiara 3800 open interior is spacious and well illuminated. It measures over six feet, seven inches, three hatches opening on the front deck, and six side windows, each having a screen.

On the right hand side, the U-shaped lounge may transform to a bigger table with a high-low pedestal, or alternatively a large double bed. The rear of the lounge may be folded up to make it one bed like a Pullman carriage. It has a conventional AM/FM stereo.

The kitchen also consists of a 2-sided stainless-steel sink, a microwave, a 2-burner electric cooker, an AC/DC refrigerator/freezer, a Corian counter, and plenty of storage space both above and below.

The cabin of the owner is completely private and has a queen bed on a pedestal and a storage underneath. A gas-assist lift will assist you to get to the bed. It also has a large hanging locker, side shelves and a door to the bathroom, which is personal.

The owner can access the bathroom through the salon and the cabin of the owner. It contains a separate shower stall, molded Corian along with a sink, a vanity, a mirror, storage above and below.

The standard cockpit seat is additionally broad and has a helm pair back-to-back on the deck, a wet bar, and storage. Beside it is a curved companion lounge that has a cooler and a back-facing seat. You can also include a fold- down transom lounge and an ice maker. The stepped cockpit provides 147 square feet of entertaining or fishing.

Under the cockpit floor are large storage areas that can store cruising or fishing gear or both.

Access to the engine is possible by the use of a lower cockpit electric lift or a hatch that is lowered by the upper cockpit.

The 3800 Open, similar to the 5200 Express, has a new custom electrical system and may be equipped optionally with a generator with a sound shield.

The tilt-away helm provides an additional 3.5 square feet of additional electronics space.

Due to the fact that bigger engines can be installed, the 3800 has increased engine room space and an inbuilt structure envelope.
